Prof
Woias is head of “Construction of Microsystems”
Department at the Institute of Microsystem Technology
of the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg, Germany.
Peter studied electrical engineering at the Technical
University of Munich. Microactuators and microfluidics
were the main focus of his post-doctoral work at the
Fraunhofer Institute for Solid-State Technology as well
as its successor, the Fraunhofer Institute for microelectronic
circuits and systems. Peter is an internationally recognised
expert on micro-pump technologies.
