Peter
is a former plc Chief Executive with a proven and successful
track record in Technology Spinouts. He founded Surface Technology
Systems plc (“STS”), a market leader in the supply
of capital equipment to the microsystems industry. Peter guided
this company profitably, through a trade sale to Sumitomo of
Japan and then on to a successful IPO capitalising the company
at £46m. When Peter left at the end of 2001, STS have
a market cap of £52m, having recorded a 60% increase in
annual turnover to £57m. STS
was honoured in successive years with the Queens Awards for
Export Achievement and Technological Innovation .
Peter also established subsidiary companies in the USA, Germany
and Japan, and has valuable experience in International Sales
and Marketing, gained in senior appointments covering both UK
and international companies.
